This twenty-three box collection contains the papers of Heber C. Snell. His papers consist of correspondence, diaries, personal papers, professional papers, published and unpublished writings, and various other items that span the time period of 1905 to 1979. These papers have been organized topically and chronologically. Snell's outgoing correspondence has been arranged chronologically and letter recipients have been listed. Incoming correspondence has been arranged alphabetically by the last name of the sender. Also, a small addendum of Snell's papers has been added to this collection as box 23. This box contains correspondence, writings, and papers concerning John W. Fitzgerald.
