Scope and Contents
This collection consists of the research files of George D. Clyde, including reports, writings, correspondence, papers, notes, speeches and subject files. Boxes 1 and 2 contain biographical information on Clyde and correspondence, box 3 contains notes and reports, and box 4 folders 1-7 contain speeches. The remainder of Box 4 (Folders 8-9) through Box 11 contain files on various subjects and organizations, such as research on foreign trade, irrigation, water law and resources, soil conservation, and several engineering councils. Boxes 12 through 16, contain some of Clyde's writings on various subjects. Box 17 contains certificates and awards presented to Governor Clyde.
