Family correspondence includes letters written by Allen W. Stokes to his parents, Lelia and Francis; to his wife, Alice; to his sister and husband, Alison and Paul; to his son, Allen W. Stokes Jr.; and to his nieces, Jane and Julie Harper. The letters are dated between 1924 and 1993. Stokes also includes his own comments regarding the correspondence.

Also included in this collection is a videotaped interview of Allen W. Stokes from Channel 12. The interview took place on September 22, 1994. A copy of Stokes' memoirs is found within the collection.
