Scope and Contents
This single-box collection consists of correspondence concerning Moses Thatcher, Sr., Alley Thatcher, William B. Preston, May Preston, Harriett Thatcher Preston, John T. Caine, and Alfred Caine spanning the period of 1865 to 1908. Also included in this collection is a poem written by Emmeline B. Wells for Horace K. Whitney at Winter Quarters in 1847 and an 1891 legal document concerning a $130,000 lawsuit against Moses Thatcher, W.B. Preston, R. Taylor, J. Beck, and the Bullion, Beck & Champion Mining Company.
