Scope and Contents
Tax assessment cards from which the photographs were removed. It should be noted that there are many cards without corresponding photos and vice versa. The tax assessment cards nearly always include information about who owned the building, what it's assessment was, and what lot it was built on. Additional information sometimes provided includes when the assessment was made, when it was built, what type of home or business is being assessed, the change in valuation over a period of years, where (what town) the building is located, what outbuildings are included in the valuation, and the street address.
