Young woman wearing a long coat, dark hat & gloves holding a purse, 1950
Scope and Contents
The 4-H Club Photograph Collection consists of images of members, adult leaders, leadership training, cooking competitions, dress revue, livestock competitions, conferences, miscellaneous demonstrations, camps, national and regional congresses, presentations, awards, classes, tractor demonstrations, and the Western Regional Leaders' Forum for 4-H Clubs in Utah. These photographs were removed from the Utah Cooperative Extension Service Papers, 4-H Program Files (Record Group 19.1/2) housed in the Utah State University Archives. For more 4-H photographs, see the USU County Extension Agent Report Photograph Collection, P0138.
Since photographs were removed from the Extension Service Papers, some photographs are more closely assoicated with this program rather than 4-H specifically.
The collection consists of approximately 780 images, silver gelatin, black-and-white and color prints, 8"x10" and smaller.
Some nitrate negatives have been removed into cold storage Box 72. Photocopies of the negatives can be found in Box 8 Fds 43-44.
