Scope and Contents
This collection consists of 26 mounted silver gelatin photographs removed from the Preston School Time Capsule Collection MSS 239. All of the materials are on permanent loan from the School District office of Preston, Idaho. The photographs were taken in 1913-1914 and record class groups of the then-existing Preston Central School (built in 1904) with teachers, the School Board, street scenes in Preston and the Oneida Stake Academy. For the most part, children and adults are all identified on the verso of the photographs. The photographs are in good condition with the exception of a curl imparted to the secondary support.
