Scope and Contents
This photograph collection consists of 328 photographs and postcards that document the life of Frederick P. Champ as well as his friends and family. Included in the collection are: photographs of political events in which Frederick P. Champ attended; Geneva Works and U.S. Steel Corporation; family vacations and clubs; the first Boy Scouts of America Troop of 1909; areas in and around Utah State University and Logan including aerial shots of the campus; Frederick P. Champ's Logan office at the Walker Bank & Trust Company and the Champ Investment Company; St. John's Episcopal Church; postcards from around the United States and the world; the construction of Hoover Dam in Nevada; World War II images, and signed portraits of the 7th, 8th and 9th presidents of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Frederick P. Champ also participated in the Geneva Works NAS Denver Civilian Orientation Cruise with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, including a trip to Alaska.
