Boy on a wooden swing, undated
Scope and Contents
The Napper Family Photograph Collection consists of 216 images from the family of Cyrus E. and Mary Jane Napper. Most of the images were taken in Logan and Logan Canyon although a few appear to be from Salt Lake City. Included are photographs of: Downtown Logan, the Logan Temple, the Cache County Courthouse, the Hercules Power Plant, the Logan Tabernacle, Brigham Young College, the Woodruff School, Utah State University, the Cy Napper drug store, bridges, parades, and the Napper family (especially children and babies). The images were most likely taken by Harry Felix and his father Cyrus between 1895 and 1905. There are references to the Spanish American war of 1898. Although most of the photographs were not identified, Cyrus E., Mary Jane, Harry Felix, Doud Byron, Eiffel May and George C. are probably included in the collection.
