Scope and Contents

This image was made by Jack Francis, a Forest Service friend of Gary Snyder's, on a visit to Snyder's Sourdough Mountain lookout. Francis is deceased. A high resolution scan of the retourched image is available for reproduction from John Suiter. For publication permission contact Mr. Francis's daughter, Joyce Eschliman. Eschliman's contact information is available through the Curator of Photography or the head of Special Collections.
