Scope and Contents
The USU Statesman Photograph Collection consists of mostly black and white prints and 35mm negatives of various activities relating to Utah State University. Included are images of sports, student activities, buildings, ROTC, and USU faculty and staff. Sports images consist of: volleyball, track, gymnastics, football, wrestling, rodeo, soccer, basketball, softball, rugby, tennis, and golf mostly from the Big West athletic conference. Student activities consist of: Greeks, Miss USU, ASUSU, Aggiettes, ROTC, theater, orchestra, marching band, and convocations. Miscellanouse and special interest images include: Romney Stadium, Special Olympics, and the Utah Jazz. The USU Statesman is a student-run campus newspaper. The photographs were taken by student photographers such as Mike Slade, Eli Lucero and Darin Oswald.
