“Abraham Lincoln”, 1938
Scope and Contents
The Floyd T. Morgan Photo Collection consists of several hundred photo slides of the productions of the Hilltop Amateur Dramatic Society and Utah State Theatre company. Most of the slides were taken by H. Reuben Reynolds and either directed or designed by Floyd T. Morgan. The plays displayed in the photographs also represent productions directed by W. Vosco Call, Don Quayble, and Uras Allred. Some of the slides contain written information describing persons or scenes depicted in the photographs. Included in the collection are several slides of the constructed sets, a few slides of the USU Amphitheatre, and many slides of the actors performing in the plays themselves. The slides consist of both individual slides and double slides (two images of the same picture places on one board, possibly for a stereograph like device). One folder in the collection contains programs of the plays and a list of basic information about the plays written by W. Vosco Call.
