Scope and Contents
LDS church leaders standing in front of the Washington D. C. Temple, located at 16th Street and Columbia Road. The church leaders were in Washington DC to meet with President Truman to arrange for relief supplies to be sent to Europe. Identifications include (left to right): Joseph Anderson (Secretary to the First Presidency), John a. Widstoe (LDS Apostle), German S. Ellsworth, George Albert Smith (LDS President), Thomas E. McKay and Edgar B. Brossand. Donated by Dr. E. B. Brossand, 1975.
