Scope and Contents

Mrs. Tanner talks about her ranching heritage, including being raised on a ranch in Park Valley, Utah, marrying a rancher and raising her own family on a ranch in Grouse Creek, Utah, and her different roles and occupations over the years, while ranching, including teaching school, teaching her children to work, participating as an EMT in Grouse Creek and community traditions. Interviewed by Lisa Duskin-Goede on 8 November 2010 at the Kenna Tanner Home in Grouse Creek, Utah. Mrs. Tanner also participated in the Grouse Creek Cultural Survey in 1985, you can find interviews and images of her there as well.
