The collection consists of 61 interviews with 78 ranchers from four Intermountain West counties: Elko County, Nevada; Box Elder County, Utah; Cache County Utah; and Rich County, Utah. The collection is divided into five series: Series I: Administrative; Series II: Box Elder County [Utah]; Series III: Cache County [Utah]; Series IV: Elko County [Nevada]; Series V: Rich County [Utah]. Each interview includes a vetted transcript, CD of the interview audio, and for some associated materials, like newspaper clippings. There is a digital collection of this collection, with audio and transcripts (and some photographs).
