There are about 74 items within this collection, including books, audio tapes, trinkets, toys, puzzles, and games. This collection was created by Dr. Brenda Branyan Bryant – Zinskey who has worked as a teacher for over thirty years including as faculty member of Utah State University Instructional Technology Department. The research value of these materials is quite diverse. For Early Childhood Educators, this collection offers valuable insights to child development, curriculum design, and cultural sensitivity. For Folklore Scholars this collection will be invaluable for tracing narrative evolution, analyzing cultural significance, and informing theoretical frameworks.
