From the Collection:

This collection contains 571 picture poscards collected by Stan Sanders. Half of the collection relates to the Bingham Canyon copper mine and the early settlements nearby. These materials are divided into the groupings of postcard type per the original owner. Many have postage stamps, postmarks, and messages from mine workers to friends and family, describing living and working conditions. The rest of the collection consists of tourist spots in other northern Utah towns: Bear River City, Brigham City, Corinne, Cache Junction, Garden City, Garland, Honeyville, Laketown, Lewiston, Mantua, North Logan, Smithfield, Snowville, South Willard, Promontory, Providence, Randolph, Richmond.
