Scope and Contents
The William Preston (W.P) Thomas papers contain materials related to Thomas, a former professor, Head of the Agricultural Economics Department at Utah State University and first County Extension Agent. Included in the collection are writings, speeches, correspondence, lecture notes, travel information, statistics, graphs, and charts. Notable in the collection are materials from the Cache Valley Tomato Growers Association and the Farr West Dairy Marketing Association; the annual reports of the Weber County Farm Bureau; correspondence regarding the Western Agricultural Economics Research Council; and materials on water resource development in the state and region.
