Charles W. Fox papers
Scope and Contents
Thirteen bound handwritten volumes dealing with the businesses and societies that Fox was involved in. Represented are the Franklin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), including a cash book (1873), tithing records (1859-1865, 1870-1871), and account book (1877); the Franklin Cooperative Mercantile Institution, including work records (1868-1874), account book (1869), and a cash book (1873); and a personal diary of daily farm routine and church service (1865-1867). Four folders hold receipts, legal papers, and some miscellaneous personal items. Also included are some home remedies and folk medicine receipies.
