International Circulation Managers Association records
Scope and Contents
This sixteen-box collection consists of the records of the International Circulation Managers Association. This collection contains the association's minutes, convention reports, yearbooks, and bulletins beginning with the association's founding in 1898 up to the year 1987.
This collection has been separated into two files for organizational purposes. File A contains minutes and convention reports of the organization since its inception in 1898. It also contains some of the association's yearbooks. File B contains the association's bulletins from September 1919 to 1987.

Historical Note
In 1898, the International Circulation Managers Association (ICMA) was founded. The ICMA was a professional alliance with an international focus responsible for the marketing, sale, and/or distribution of daily newspapers. On June 1, 1992, the ICMA merged with seven other similar organizations to form the Newspaper Association of America (NAA).
