Biographical Note

The American Home Economics Association was founded in 1909. It had a name change in 1994, and is now known as the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. This collection pertains to the Utah affiliate of this association. It is an organization that brings professionals together to discuss the future of family and consumer sciences as a discipline. There are professional sections as well as divisions with a variety of career specialty areas.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Boxes 1-9 provenance is unknown. Boxes 10-13 were donated to USU Special Collections by Kathleen Riggs in 1997.
