Scope and Contents

The Willard Peterson photograph collection consists of 22 images taken at the turn of the century. Featured in the collection are images of Logan in winter, Logan Canyon, and the Agricultural College of Utah (now Utah State University). Willard's brother, Miles (M.L. Peterson) appears in several of the images.

Biographical Note

Willard Larsen Peterson (1886-1978) and his younger brother Miles Larsen Peterson (1887-1938) were the sons of Mary and Peter Peterson. They grew up on a large dry farm and cattle ranch located north of Mendon on the West side of Cache Valley. He married Ellen Corona Mulroney in Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1915. At some point he moved to San Diego where he lived for the remainder of his life.
