Scope and Contents

The Fabiola Nevarez collection consists of seven oversized black and white photographs of Latinx workers in Ogden as well as twenty seven 8x10 color and black and white inkjet prints. These images consist of Latinx families as well as Latinx people protesting proposed a federal immigration reform debate in Ogden on May 1, 2006. Some of these images were part of Nevarez's senior exhibition.

Biographical Note

Fabiola Nevarez grew up in Mexico and graduated with an art degree specializing in photography from Utah State University in 2006. During her time at USU she competed in Miss USU Diversity pageants and was the vice president of USU's Latino Student Union. She currently is an art teacher living in Mexico.
