This collection contains a portion of the records of the Disability Resource Center at Utah State University. Materials include newsletters, pamphlets, handbooks, annual reports, newspaper clippings and a photographic scrapbook.

Biographical / Historical
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is one of four departments under the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Utah State University (other departments include the Inclusion Center, the Latinx Cultural Center, and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion – Eastern USU). It grew out of the Hearing Impaired Student Association of the 1970s, which became the Disabled Student Center in 1980 to include all students with disabilities.

Abstract
The Disability Resource Center is designated to provide centralized services, resources, and programs that facilitate equal access for disabled students and guests of the Utah State University. This collection contains a selection of promotional and historic materials, such as newsletters, annual reports, and scrapbooks.
Arrangement
This collection is arranged in two series: office files and scrapbooks.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
These materials were donated by the Disability Resource Center on the Utah State University campus. Some materials were given to the University Archivist by David Pruden.
