Biographical / Historical
Bradford Cole held many positions at USU’s Merrill-Cazier Library, including curator of manuscripts (1983-1995), director of Special Collections and Archives (2004-2014), but most noticeably, Dean of Libraries (2014-2021). As Dean, Cole focused on developing many new services at the Merrill-Cazier Library, including Open Educational Resources grants, digitization of the library catalogue, and federally funded grants for associated research. Cole made the services at the Merrill-Cazier Library easily accessible and created many opportunities for students to both learn and work at the library.
