Scope and Contents

The Fife Folklore Archives oral histories: community-driven collections consists of oral histories donated to the FFA by patrons. Each donation is named for the informant (if it consists of only their interview) or the collector (if there is more than one informant or if the collection is thematic). All discrete collections are housed in a separate archival box. The collection is organized by date and continues to grow.

Restrictions

Open to public research. To access the collection a patron must have the following information: collection number, series number, sub-series number, if applicable, box number and folder number (or image number).

Copyright

It is the responsibility of the user to obtain permission to publish from the owner of the copyright (the institution, the creator of the record, the author or his/her transferees, heirs, legates, or literary executors). The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Utah State University Libraries, its officers, employees, and agents from and against all claims made by any person asserting that he or she is an owner of copyright.

Permission to publish material from the Fife Folklore Archives oral histories: community-driven collections must be obtained from the Curator of the Fife Folklore Archives and/or the Special Collections Department Head.

Abstract

This collection includes community-driven oral histories and oral history projects that are donated to the Fife Folklore Archives oral histories: community-driven collections scholars and USU students. Collection products include oral history audio and/or transcripts, which may have release forms; some collections have associated correspondence and theses or project papers.
