This collection is composed mostly of the journals of Alden B Tueller, but also includes his LDS mission documents and his book about tax laws related to charitable giving.

Biographical / Historical
Alden B. Tueller (1939-2021), raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, served an LDS mission in Switzerland and Austria from 1959-1962. He graduated from the University of Utah in mathematics and from the University of California at Berkeley in law. He practiced estate, trust, and tax law in New York City for eight years before moving to Utah where he was counsel to the LDS Foundation which raises funds for charities. He was the co-founder of Premier Administration and the founder of Bennet Tueller Johnson & Deere; both are charitable organizations. In addition to this he also published several books about charitable planned giving.

Abstract
Contains the journals and diaries of Alden B. Tueller, an LDS missionary to Switzerland and Austria, and later a tax attorney specializing in tax-exempt trusts and organizations.
Arrangement
Series I contains missionary and personal journals. Series II includes all other materials such as correspondence, mission records, and writings.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
These materials were donated to USU Special Collections and Archives in 2000 by Alden B. Tueller, with later additions through 2025.
