Historical Note
Although there is little external information available about the Loss Creek Irrigation Company, it operated out of the city of Salina, in Sevier County, Utah, at least as early as 1923, and was particularly active between 1923-1941. One of its main projects was the construction of Rex Reservoir, in Fishlake National Forest, which is now the headwater of the Sevier River. Loss Creek Irrigation Company may have been reincorporated under the name Lost Creek Irrigation Company on 10 July, 1944, and is still in existence today. E. J. Freece was the secretary of the company between 1931 and 1941.
