Scope and Contents

This collection contains a 1988 Stanford Alumni Almanac; tourist papers and brochures; a magazine, Conquest of the Yahi and Yana, by Virginia Parker; documents of the 1984 American Association of University Women and Dr. June S. Welling; an article and photographs of Lottie Esplin and the Book Table; a speech from Virginia Parker's exhibit of The San Francisco Fine Press in California; a work, volunteer, and accomplishment record for Alison Thorne; Anne Carroll Moore’s conference in 1935; “A History of the Utah State University Elementary” by R. Eyre Turner; and a request for recognition for Anne Carroll Moore. It also contains United States Geographical Survey photographs of the Duchesne, Utah, area; maps, postcards, and photographs about Fort Duschesne; articles, brochures, and newspaper articles relating to Fort Duchesne and Native Americans; and research materials for Parker’s book Indian Summers: A Memoir of Fort Duchesne, 1925-1935. The collection also contains Logan, Utah, and Utah State University materials, including an irrigation history, Logan Island history, the Amphion and Buzzer yearbooks from the 1940s, and travel pamphlets.
