School Egg Drop (ca. 1960's). The refuge hosted a competition for elementary school children in which they attempted to protect eggs that were dropped from the observation tower. The object of the competition was to prevent the egg from breaking. These photos include views of the drop itself, as well as the children and their protective packages.
