The Northwest dragline has excavated a basin on the down stream side of the apron and is at work moving large boulders down into the floor of this new basin. These are to be placed in position and embedded in concrete, and boulders are being hauled in by team and wagon, as shown. A derrick on wheels is being used to load the boulders from a supply located along the old railroad embankment about one half mile away, 1938 April 21
