Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains 1,182 photographs mainly from the 1920s to the 1960s. The photographs show irrigation methods from the early 1900s to 1950s including irrigation field trials in the Western United States and measuring snow pack to predict spring runoff in the Tony Grove/Franklin Basin area (near Logan, Utah). There are also photographs of Utah river flooding in 1952 involving Hobble Creek and the Spanish Fork River (in Utah County) and of the Weber River (in Weber County). The...
