Storm of July 1934 filled those terraces that were not completed with silt. Those that had been completed to the standard were more successful in holding back the runoff.

The central part of the picture shows the farm area devastated by floods of 1930 at the mouth of Parrish Canyon in Centerville, Utah. The school house stands near the middle of the devastated area. Flood material was deposited in the bottom of Lake Bonneville in 1930 for the first time since Lake Bonneville reeded to the present Great Salt Lake level.
