The first album (boxes 1 and 2) depicts a "Mormon Pilgrimage" taken by the Fifes to historical sites pertinent to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, both in the east and Midwest as well as in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Arizona. Abstract An album consisting of 249 black & white photographic images, mostly snapshots, taken and/or collected by Newell James Crookston between roughly 1910 and 1917. Many of these photos are from an Eastern States mission (1914-1915) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and consist of New York City views, and of sites relevant to early Mormon Church history.
