Abstract

The Thatcher Opera House photograph collection consists of 187 photographs from the late 1880s to the early 1920s donated by William E. McMurdie. The Thatcher Opera House was located in the Thatcher Bank at the corner of Main and Center Streets. Most of the images are reprints of promotional portraits of actors or copied from newspaper advertisements. There are also a handful of original images.

The Utah Statesman Photograph Collection consists of mostly black and white prints and 35mm negatives of various activities relating to Utah State University. Inlcuded are images of sports, student activities, buildings, USU faculty and staff, and special interest. Miscellanouse and special interest images include: Romney Stadium, Special Olympics, and the Utah Jazz. The USU Statesman is a student-run campus newspaper.
