Abstract The C.W. Carter photograph collection consists of 47 carte-de-visite photographs and 3 stereographs. Some, if not all, of these images were taken by Carter before the building of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1868-1869. Included are notable landmarks from Utah and southwest Wyoming, including Echo Canyon, Church Buttes (Two Church Buttes carts-de-visite images include telegraph lines), and the Needles. Abstract

Consists of 943 images taken by photographer and journalism professor Nelson Wadsworth. Images are of reenactors at Fort Bridger in Wyoming and negatives of individuals dressed in period costume during the Festival of the American West (1990 and 1994) on the Utah State University campus.
