Brief handwritten letter on Hotel Eccles stationary dated Oct. 10, 1927 to Mr. G.H. Beesemyer of Hollywood, Calif. signed "Guaranty Bldg." and referring to a unknown newspaper clipping and bid. The Eccles Hotel of Logan, Utah occupied the floors above the Thatcher Brothers Bank. These floors had been occupied by the Thatcher Opera House until the building was destroyed by fire in 1912. The new building (1915) housed the hotel until its closure in the early 1960s.

Brief handwritten letter on State Bank of Utah stationary from Samuel Preston in Salt Lake City, Utah, to his sister, Miss May Preston, dated June 20, 1893. Mentions his studies, his pigeons, other animals, berries in the garden, and the Sunday school's proposed trip to Saltair. Samuel Preston wrote his sister May while she was in Chicago, Ill. at the World's Fair.

Bond coupons for 15 dollars each from the Utah Idaho Central Railroad Company, dated July 1920 to Jan. 1940. The Utah Idaho Central Railroad Company was created in 1914 when the Eccles Corporation merged the Logan Rapid Transit Company and the Ogden Rapid Transit Company.

Typed resolution made June 4, 1922, expressing sympathy and respect to the family of elder Victor E. Madsen, on the occasion of his death. Elder Victor E. Madsen (1879-1922) married Sarah Cleofa Forsgren. He served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the first counselor in the Presidency of the Box Elder Stake, Brigham City, Utah.
