Abstract

This collection consists of materials related to Kenneth and Audrey Godfrey in their roles as teachers, historians, administrators, and authors. Their work focused primarily on the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as Mormons) and the early settlers of Cache Valley, Utah.

Abstract The diaries of Abby Groesbeck Jenson contain a virtually daily account of her life from 1928 to 1963. She originally lived in Brigham City, moving to Logan after the death of her husband in 1939. Entries are mostly ordinary household matters, concerned with her literary and gardening interests, and probably give a good day-by-day account of average household work in a middle-class northern Utah home during the period.
