Nibley family photographs

Abstract

Photographs and portraits mainly of Charles Wilson Nibley and his family during the late 1800s and early 1900s. There are also some photos of the Hatch family (from the Joseph Hatch and Florence Nibley line). Also included in the collection is a 16mm film transferred to VHS of various members of the Nibley family while on vacations in Southern Utah and at family gatherings.

Abstract 196 snapshots of residences and businesses in Cache County (mostly Logan), Utah taken from the 1930s to the 1960s. These tax assessment photographs were kept by the county for record keeping purposes and were taped to tax assessment cards. Old Main Fire photograph collection

Abstract

On December 19, 1983, an overheated ballast in a fluorescent light on the third floor started a fire in the north wing of the Old Main building. This fire caused extensive damage to the third floor and burned off part of the roof. The decision was made to rebuild the north wing as it had originally been built and after extensive renovation it (along with the west wing which was damaged by water) opened in the fall of 1985.

The F. Ross Peterson Photograph Collection consists of 240 images, including many of his family and friends. Also included are images of the Teton Dam failure and Idaho Senator Glen H. Taylor. Alene Petty papers

The papers of Alene Petty mostly involves the correspondence with her future husband Kay Richardson during World War II and shortly thereafter. Richardson, at the time, served in the United States Navy. In the collection, there is also other correspondence with several other persons during the time period as well as a few photographs.

Pratt family photograph collection

Pratt, and Lois Pratt Hunt, and three framed tintype portraits of Addison Pratt, Ann Louise Pratt, and John Hunt, Lois Barnes Pratt Hunt, and Ida Hunt. Also included is a gold necklace.
