Abstract
The diaries of Abby Groesbeck Jenson contain a virtually daily account of her life from 1928 to 1963. She originally lived in Brigham City, moving to Logan after the death of her husband in 1939. Entries are mostly ordinary household matters, concerned with her literary and gardening interests, and probably give a good day by day account of average household work in a middle class northern Utah home during the period. Abstract
Thomas Lloyd was born in England on August 19, 1850. In 1856 his family departed for the Great Salt Lake Valley; however, due to the length of the trip and the birth of his sister, they settled instead in Newton, Iowa. In 1866 a missionary converted Lloyd to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he became an active member. This collection contains a photocopy of Thomas E. Lloyd’s journal as well as the original.
